Cette journée a commencé très tôt, levé à 4h pour une liaison et passage de la frontière car on a quitté le Chilie aujourd'hui! Il a fait très froid en liaison, je me suis gelé, on a même vu de la neige! On est monté à 3500m!

Après la frontière, l'Aconcagua m'a fait un petit coucou au loin! À l'arrivée de la spéciale, il faisait déjà 30C! Cette étape a été comme ça devrait être tous les jours: sans problème! Elle était très technique comme je les aime! Beaucoup de cailloux et du sable mou. J'ai commencé très fort en dépassant 5 concurrents et j'avais un bon rythme mais quelques fautes m'ont rappelé à l'ordre et aussi voir un pilote monté dans un hélico dans une zone où je roulait à 135kmh, après j'ai beaucoup ralenti pour arriver et c'est ce que j'ai fait!

Un peu fatigué pour la première fois du rallye, donc je vais me reposer ce soir! Demain, c'est l'étape la plus longue du rallye donc je dois être en forme!
En passant, merci pour tout vos messages que je reçois tous les soirs sur le site du Dakar! Je trouve ça incroyable votre appui, si je finis ce Dakar ce sera grâce à vous autres!

The day started very early, got up at 4 am for a liaison and border crossing, we left Chile today! It was very cold during the liaison, I was freezing, we even saw snow! We climbed to 3500m!

After the border, Aconcagua said hi from the distance! Upon arrival of the speciaAt the spéciale finish, it was already 30C! This stage was as it should be every day, without problem! It was very technical as I love them! Lots of rocks and soft sand. I started strong and passed 5 competitors, I had a good pace but made a few faults enough to remind me to be be calm and also seing a pilot boarded a helicopter in an area where I was going at 135kmh after that I slowed down to arrive safely and that's what I did!

A little tired for the first time the rally, so I'm going to rest tonight! Tomorrow is the longest stage of the rally so I must be in shape!
By the way, thank you for all your messages I get every night on the website of the Dakar! I find your support amazing, if I finish this Dakar will be with you!
